The twins mid-sleeper bunk bed is perfect for siblings or the social butterfly who often has friends around. This bunk bed offers a versatile build to accommodate kids who share a room, host visiting family or accommodating impromptu sleepovers your kids spring on you. It features a double sided build with cut-outs on both sides of the bunk bed to allow you to stand the bunk bed on its left or right profile. The window-like first step is built high for big kids to access the top bunk and keep little ones in the bottom bunk. Not only featuring a raised wall and high access points to prevent little kids accessing the top bunk, the bunk has been third party tested and certified to meet the AS/NZS 4220:2010 standards. The Twins Bunk achieves the highest in safety standards so you can feel peace of mind knowing your children and guests are sleeping safe.

The Timber

Wood displays different grain patterns depending on which way they are cut – for example, the ‘medullary ray’ which can appear on oak furniture is a mark of good quality timber, these are just characteristics of the natural beauty of the wood. Wood veneers also allow distinctive patterns to be created on some surfaces, such as table tops and drawer fronts by the way slivers are arranged. All timber and veneer surfaces will change colour and mellow over time. New furniture will initially vary in shade from items that have been previously purchased.

Construction Soft matt white painted MDF (no laminates or pointy bits) with sturdy breathable mattress bases. Sculpted oak timber feature ladder with a lipped bottom treadplate which protects the paint, white adhesive circles to cover screw holes and several connection points/bracing junctions mean there will be no annoying creaks and squeaks with this sturdy bunk bed. Please note we recommend a mattress no higher than 19cm for the top bunk.
