If you’ve got your Raspberry Pi doing some intensive work like running a media player or mining cryptocurrency, then heatsinks can help to dissipate some of that extraneous heat that is generated. Out of the common metals, copper has the best thermal conductivity and is an excellent choice for heatsinks. This two pack of heatsinks allows you to fit one to the CPU and one to the GPU on your Pi. Can even be used on motor driver ICs or other power ICs and regulators.
